The James Webb Space Telescope is a space telescope designed primarily to conduct infrared astronomy. As the most powerful telescope ever launched into space, its greatly improved infrared resolution and sensitivity will allow it to view objects too old, distant, or faint for the Hubble Space Telescope.

The James Webb Space Telescope is an infrared observatory that will complement and extend the discoveries of the Hubble Space Telescope, with longer wavelength coverage and greatly improved sensitivity.

ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் தொலைநோக்கி அமெரிக்காவின் நாசா, ஐரோப்பாவின் ஈசா, கனடா விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி மையங்கள் இணைத்து அனுப்பிய தொலைநோக்கி ஆகும். ஏற்கனவே விண்ணில் இருக்கும் hubble தொலைநோக்கியின் அப்டேட் தான் இந்த ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் தொலைநோக்கி.

பூமியில் இருந்து அதிகபட்சம் 1,500,000 km தூரத்தில் இது நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. பூமியில் இருந்து இது இருக்கும் குறைந்தபட்ச தொலைவே 374,000 km தூரம் ஆகும்.

ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் எடுத்த புகைப்படத்தை பற்றி பார்க்கலாம். குட்டி குட்டி நட்சத்திரங்கள், மினிமைஸ் செய்யப்பட்ட பிரபஞ்ச கூட்டங்கள், நட்சத்திர கூட்டங்கள் என்று எல்லாம் அடங்கிய புகைப்படம்தான் அது. ஒரு பிடி மண்ணை கையில் வைத்து உங்கள் தோள் பட்டையில் கேமரா வைத்து கையில் உள்ள மண்ணை போட்டோ எடுத்தால் எப்படி இருக்கும். அப்படித்தான் விண்வெளியில் ஒரு பிடி மண் அளவிற்கு உள்ள குறிப்பிட்ட பகுதியை மட்டும் படம் பிடித்து ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் அனுப்பி உள்ளதாக நாசா வர்ணித்து உள்ளது.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said in a tweet along with the caption "Smile, please!".

Sharing the photographs through its official handle on X (formerly Twitter), ISRO said, Pragyan Rover clicked an image of Vikram Lander this morning. The image of the mission’ was taken by the Navigation Camera onboard the Rover (NavCam).
